"This means that for companies entering hypergrowth, strategy begins with sales. You have to focus on capturing as much of the market as possible. To do this, you don’t need an ideal business model; you simply need one that is good enough to attract paying customers and operates with a few easily understood metrics. There’s not much point in spending time to create a perfect product-service mix and a finely tuned business model bristling with performance criteria if in the meantime your competitor takes all the customers."
