I've been thinking about this today and this is pretty much the worst thing that could have happened here WRT timing. If the mre is low then it looks bad and the sp is going down the crapper, if the mre is overly good then it looks bad because management got their mates in on the lows before very substantial news, at the expense of shareholders in each case.
It seems like management are genuine but man are they making themselves look pretty ordinary. Going to take a lot to turn this around...
