Asra's rare earths composition is in the heavier category of the rare earth spectrum, significantly more valuable than the light end of the spectrum, as seen at Lynas.

The heavies and magnet rare earths ratios stated are certainly at the higher end of the market announced results from other explorers.

Over and above that, and something that has been given little value or attention is the potential of the Scandium which is throughout, above and below the rare earth horizon. From the announcement:

Scandium, at current spot price is sold by the KG, not by the tonne. It is difficult for me to find an actual current price but an indication of its potential value can be gleaned by having a look around the net at various sites. For EG, (and we are in the Scandium Oxide category, not pure metal)

Owing to its scarcity and limited production, scandium is one of the most expensive of all the natural elements. Prices for 99.99% pure scandium (RE: 99% min. | Sc/TREM: 99.99% min.) have fluctuated between US$ 4000 and US$ 20,000 per kilogram over the past decade. Of course, because of the limited amount of material produced globally and the limited market for scandium, there is also a wide range of prices offered for the metal at any given time.

During the rare earth shortage of 2010, the price for scandium metal soared from a few thousand US dollars to over US$ 15,000 per kilogram. The more widely commercially used form, scandium oxide (Sc2O3), meanwhile, was being offered at prices of over US$ 7000/kg.

99.999% Scandium metal price is now floating at $500000/kg. From 2022 August to 2022 November, its price increases and almost reaches $580000/kg.

Bring on an MRE on the Scandium, and prove up more gold !

I agree the MRE on Rare Earths is slightly underwhelming in the context of tonneage, but it is only over the currently drilled area and is 55% in the indicated category. That area has been extensively drilled for gold, and has provided good data data to work with for Rare earth and Scandium results.

The potential 20KM corridor mentioned for the REEs is yet to be proven, and this also requires further drilling to substantiate, along with fleshing out the gold potential further.

It seems nothing moves quickly, but we are now seeing some results from the work (and money) that has gone into the ground. It will take a lot more yet, but the real potential of the resource is just starting to show, methinks.
