Yeah GL1 seems a darling because they have solid mgmt + it gets pumped by big-name lithium influencers.
Their SS for Manna (released today, definitely worth reading) reinforces what great value WR1 is, and how we'll have a much easier path to production.
- 2Mtpa DMS + flotation plant * 0.92% head grade * 70% recovery = 221ktpa SC5.5
- AISC 885 usd/t (ouch)
- Capex 435m aud (yikes)
- 10yr LOM
- First shipment hopefully mid-2026
They'll make good money, but I don't think it's too early to say with some conviction that project economics at Cancet imo will be far superior, and should also be producing in 2026.
