Think you missed my point - No one who can move the SP meaningfully is going to base their investment decisions off of this site. However, what is being propagated here is usually a decent representation or gauge of retail (the ones with rocks in their head or the herd as you put it) sentiment and opinion overall. With a great resource and company like this it is a double edged sword at some point in the sense that the big boys are going to want in and that's when the games begin to be played.
The combination of heightened emotions/sentiment and people being ill-informed are what they play off, and I've been seeing increasingly more of both.
