They only have to keep propping it up for another 30 years, they've been able to do so for the last 30 so it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
By then I'll have my solar powered house in a defensible position with a clean water source and I can sit back, turn off the holo-TV and unplug my brain from the brain-net having lived a life well, arguing on Hotcopper with dooms-dayers and Covid-nuts about whether a lead/silver stock will up high enough for me to make a good profit.
