    It's quite often the case that the final approvals for a mine can be held up by obtaining the necessary environmental permits. They can be held up for various reasons and the timing of them being approved is very much in the hands of the Government bodies involved. I personally feel it's a prudent move to have this part of the process underway asap. It suggests to me that management is confident they will be moving toward production in the not too distant future. The JORC is entirely in the hands of the company and can be progressed on their timeline. There's nothing more frustrating than having a mine 'ready to go' only to be held up by the environmental approvals. Australia is one of the better countries for granting permits/licences but the Carmichael/Adani mine is one example of the delays that can be experienced. Cheers, E
