Okay, so for those who aren't geologists the exploration model for Granmuren is an orthomagmatic ni-cu deposit, it's a chonolith or in layman's terms a magma pipe.
Other examples nearby include Sakatti and Kevitsa, but they occur else where in the world such as Nova Bollinger (of SIR/S2R fame, Mark Creasy, Mark Bennett et al) and even Voisey's Bay (a true freak).
The image below is a schematic section of Sakatti (from here page 212: https://spiral.imperial.ac.uk/handle/10044/1/61898)
I've made some annotations to highlight the relative types of mineralisation to each other within the magma pipe. With the drilling to date by RAG I suspect so far we have been drilling around in the area of the red ellipse I have drawn, ie mostly disseminated with some matrix/semi massive/massive mineralisation as definately seen in hole 21-7.
I've linked a few slides below that are interesting comparisons from Sakatti to Granmuren for what have seen so far from a grade comparison perspective.

This image shows the 9500E and 9800E section position for the assay slides below, you'll recognise a similar image in RAG's announcement.
This image below shows intervals and assays for holes on section 9800E. The tenor (grade) is not dissimilar from what has been intersected by RAG in holes 21-2 being 60.2m @ 0.75% Ni, 0.5% Cu, 0.06% Co and hole 21-7 being 146.3m @ 0.6%Ni, 0.5% Cu, 0.05% Co.
These drillholes on section 9500E are ~300m away from the holes above on section 9800E.
From Portgeo, Sakatti's resource in 2020 (http://www.portergeo.com.au/database/mineinfo.asp?mineid=mn1718)
Published Mineral Resources (Anglo American plc Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources Report 2020) were:
Measured + Indicated Resources - 3.5 Mt @ 3.45% Cu, 2.47% Ni, 2.49 g/t 3E PGE (Pt+Pd+Au);
Inferred Resources - 40.9 Mt @ 1.77% Cu; 0.83% Ni, 1.37 g/t 3E PGE (Pt+Pd+Au).
I'm really looking forward to the next drillhole downdip of 21-2/21-7.
