“We have cased the Luhuma Central diamond holes and will soon commence the Downhole Electromagnetic (DHEM) surveys on each hole to assist with this ongoing drilling program.DHEM surveys are an effective technique used to generate drill targets based on the “off-hole” conductive responses that are logged.This has the benefit of both increasing the effectiveness of drilling which can materially reduce the number of drilling metres required when evaluating an emerging prospect like the Luhuma Central.“DHEM is a critical tool to effectively drill the interpreted 1-1.5km extension,” Riekie said.
