    Hi 2ic,
    It's hard to see how this could ever be a viable operation based on these initial figures, with an average of 2m IAC ore thickness lying under 8.3m of overburden. And that is before any of the OPEX considerations due to potential high acid consumption in processing as you have pointed out previously. BTW Makuutu IAC OPEX estimate was US$36.30/kg REO before Sc02 credits, so that's assuming IXR will be able to sell all that scandium...
