You are totally correct in that shorters seeing what was happening did take advantage of the situation, but just as much or more damage was caused by the gamblers who had to meet margin calls but didn't have the cash resources to meet the calls.
If I lose money I blame myself for doing so but don't cry over spilt milk.
A lesson that I have learnt over the years is to only invest what you can afford to lose.
Sorry for being so blunt but no use beating around the bush.....especially in Wallaby LOL
