ASSET: IFT: Infratil sells Manston Airport
On 15 October 2013, Infratil Limited announced that it had agreed to sell
Manston Airport to Lothian Shelf (710) Limited (now known as Manston Skyport
Limited), an entity wholly owned by Ann Gloag.
Infratil now confirms that the sale was completed on 29 November 2013. As
indicated on 15 October, the sale was for cash consideration of 1 plus an
adjustment for working capital variances and cash injected by Infratil
between 14 October 2013 and transaction completion.
Marko Bogoievski, Chief Executive Officer of Infratil, stated "Infratil is
pleased that Manston Airport has been acquired by a purchaser with a vision
for its future development, and extends best wishes to the new owner, and
staff, going forward."
