I was thinking the govt has just lost $900 mill in taxes; write down (statutory) is lessened 30% by tax losses (not paid); so govt by undercutting real businesses with tax payer money, then get less taxes; a well timed shot over the govt's bow
now AGL pay dividend based on cash flow (they say); this does not impact cash flow... does it?
