ASSET: MCK: MCK: Kingsgate Hotel Wellington franchise ends
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited (NZX:MCK) advises that the
franchise agreement with the Kingsgate Hotel Wellington will terminate by
mutual agreement on 31 March 2015. The agreement is being terminated on the
sale of the hotel by the current owner and franchise holder which coincides
with the end of the franchise term.
Karl Luxon, Vice President of Operations, said , "We have been pleased with
the development of this hotel's business over the past seven years. It has
certainly benefited from being part of the Millennium, Copthorne and
Kingsgate hotel network over this time and we wish the new owners every
success for the future."
All current bookings held and rate agreements with the hotel will be honoured
up to and beyond 31 March 2015.
