Having held this for three years and losing 80% of my investment, I have a few observations.

If you believe in an electric vehicle future, it’s easier to get get exposure to that by buying Tesla. The idea that we are playing the upside by buying a commodity is unfortunately wrong.

There are a lot of cheap companies right now that AREN’T speculative. CLQ is, and unfortunately, despite the amazing team, they really don’t have much good news. If I reflect on the past three years, it always felt like a downhill story...

minerals that people don’t want
price reductions
missing deadlines
missing deadlines
missing deadlines

i still hold a large position, but I sold the majority of my holdings. Lessons learned. I lost more than the average persons salary times three years! But, I’ve always learned the hard way.

Seeing announcements like this today is not actually that unexpected. the company has continually done two things:
1) had a lot of potential
2) not delivered on it

I’m not down ramping, this is my genuine opinion. DYOR
