ref: an earlier comment about LTR and a t/o of MI6.... my layperson thought is that the logic could be, and it's a big, unlikely 'could', that LTR seeks to protect itself from a bid that might otherwise get up with instos, in its current position.
if it is committed to its independence and coming to production, what better, safer, entirely known-quantity top investment to make than acquiring MI6, for all the various reasons we know, to make it a much bigger, tougher bite....
