Yes, also the optics will be questioned re the hubble investment which has issues on 2 fronts:
1. the life360 management themselves have also invested in hubble. Not necessarily a bad thing as they have put their money where they have put shareholder money.
2. too close contact with ex-life360 CIO who runs hubble. lots of motherhood statements like 'we know him very well, trust him' etc. All absolutely true but some could view as helping out a mate. my personal opinion is these guys are absolute professionals and would not be putting money into a venture without hard evidence and a business plan. additionally, the trust thing is a real consideration when you deal with start ups. So it is a very good thing, imo.
But analysts and AFR will love the controversy. Let's see if any hedge funds try their luck with feeding stories to them to get in cheaper for the IPO.
