For what it's worth: I just got the circular from Deloitte that was sent to all customers, basically asking me to file a claim for any money owed (including warranty work) up to late August, when the company went into administration. They've basically said that they won't be able to offer warranty repair work or support for existing customers in the future (which is what should have been expected, given the company is being wound down.)
She's dead, Jim. It's just a question of whether they find a buyer for the IP and other assets (I rate that as maybe a 50% chance; it depends on exactly what issues the tech has and how much work will be needed to bring it up to scratch, and the former management really wasn't forthcoming on that detail), and whether there's any money left over for shareholders (I'd rate that a very low probability; the very best that I'd expect would be fractions of a cent per share, and even that would be very optimistic, IMO.)
I count myself as extremely fortunate that I managed to get them to pay for removing the dead battery (as well as the buyback) before they went into administration; one installer I know told me that they've been quoted about the same as I was quoted - a thousand bucks or so - for battery removal and disposal. Anybody who still has Redflow batteries installed really should be setting money aside for that, as well as replacement battery hardware when (not if, I fear) the battery dies. I've been very happy with the Pylontech modules that I now have installed, if anybody is after suggestions/recommendations.
