Yes I was thinking along similar lines with the India trial.

That they are collecting samples from multiple places in both the mouth and nasal passages, with the ultimate aim being that the instructions for use for our Covid test potentially providing 2/3/4 methods of potential sampling along with the effectiveness of each sampling method.
It will then be up to the users to potentially choose which sampling method they use based on their requirements.

So its likely we will update our current nasal swab test with the latest India results too so that all samples methods are from the same comparable trial.

So possibility we have the one Covid Test with 3+ possible methods of sampling and their sensitivity ... eg
Current full depth nasal swab - Sensitivity 98% and Specificity 99.6%
    Mid-turbinate nasal swab - Sensitivity 95% and Specificity 99.4%
Oral (Mouth) - Sensitivity 94% and Specificity 99.1%

So it maybe that Hospitals Covid Wards do a daily Oral test and a weekly full nasal.
A Mining company sticks with weekly or fortnightly Oral tests
    Airlines use Oral tests
