There is lots to fuss about. It means the integrity and provenance of the data are unknown, (could be selective, cleaned up, preprocessed, anything), it is the opposite of real time (running old data quickly is not the same as running live data real time), and it makes one wonder what is wrong with the development so far that this was necessary. Something is missing here. More than anything it throws doubt on the integrity of the people, and therefore the value of the investment. All IMO of course.
