I understand what your saying about the raw data that brainchip has used for the demonstration. But the same could be said about anything any company uses as a product demonstration. I think this may have something to do with the spikenet acquisition and the legal ramifications of using data obtained on a competitors device, Hence the reason for stressing that the data they analyses is "open source" and freely available on the public domain. Maybe I'm wrong that's my theory anyway.
