Do the ASX new rules include the precedent that ASX have established with their non-market sensitive announcement of Friday 21st August 2020 i.e Update on ISX Litigation. It appears that all ASX listed companies may no longer need to announce as "Market Sensitive" if they are being sued for a substantial amount of money, if they follow the ASX lead on this announcement. All ASX listed companies also may not need to declare how much they are being sued for or what allegations are being filed against them in court. I believe regulatory authorities that oversee ASX are extremely concerned and questioning the ASX's possible breach of their own Disclosure Rules.
