You need around 2600 shares ATM to make the $500 minimum so if I believe as has been said you can buy some on market first to make a parcel large enough to transfer your issuer holding too, or you could just keep them as issuer and sell if that's what you wanted to do but they are harder to sell that way and from what I have seen more expensive too.
You'll have to confirm these options are available with probably Boardroom and Westpac first but the few IPO's I have been involved in had issuer sponsored shares so I'm sure it's very common and shouldn't be too hard.
