I disagree. In Funds management, size really does matter. IFL want to sell to stay focused on their core business. EQT want to buy to get economies of scale. The price will be about $150m. EQT will have a whole lot of back room synergies which should reduce their cost to serve over their whole portfolio. EQT are good at what they do. I would not be surprised to see the sp rise with this deal.
