Yeah it does matter what he was getting paid, if the discussion is focused on fair remuneration. Of course, this if you intend to have a realistic conversation, and not simply suggest you'd like Marty on board but at a cheap price.

And I'm not suggesting we have him at fair, cheap or over priced value, but I do believe this should be understood if persons care to speculate on fair value of remuneration.

My additional question to anyone who felt they could apply an appropriate valuation on Marty's income, was to advise what they felt was too much before you'd let him go. Seeing as you have an opinion on the finer details, what is your suggestion here?

Lastly, it wasn't my idea to form XPE United, the soon to be new A-League franchise about to take Asia by storm. Can't wait to see them storm the pitch...
