Agreed, DirectTV will be able to expand the use of the IP of xTV.
Just came across AT&T's "Netbond" where they are apparently working seamlessly with other cloud networks.
Certainly is a lot starting to go on in the cloud space.
Took a screenshot and you see Microsoft Azure is also included in AT&T's diagram where they describe inter cloud networks functioning together.
Let's hope it's a case of awesome Synergy (AT&T / Microsoft) and that xTV have positioned themselves well to be able to provide a benefit to both large scale "cloud capable" companies and not be the last morsel on the table that everyone wants to eat.
My money's on Joe.
