“ Lithium is done with Trump in charge! ”
Why?
The ultimate transition to electrified mobility afaict is really based on economics.
Sure, govt incentives etc act to accelerate that transition, but their removal does not halt the process.
AFAIK trump is talking about removing “mandates” related to EVs, stating that people should still have choice over what type of vehicles they choose to buy.
If you examine the cost and tech trajectories of batteries and EVs, you will see that it remains a matter of when, not if, mass adoption of EVs occurs - purely on economic terms.
Lithium is very very far from “done” afaict.
Heck, the global fleet is only a few % EVs, there is a long long long way for the transition to go, and shed loads of batteries required.
