By and by the RI is often disparaged by many as a ‘sucker’, CEO should ‘know’ what dilution is involved in progressing the Company, yet they will tell that RI ‘There will not be any more CRs’, inflate internal valuations, ect, ect and set up expectations that are not delivered
It is more than a REASONABLE expectation by RIs that ‘dilution’ is a means to a end and that for those funds arrived from that dilution it will progress the Company and appreciate the sp, any amount of dilution overseen by this CEO has been for next to nothing, in the last two years plus., fact.
Sell down is not just due to more dilution but the awareness of RIs of the realties ahead of the Company, ‘they’, the CEO, know of the high risks involved yet they will adamantly continue to sell the Company, if that is playing the ‘game’ than they are 100 complicit in misleading RIs, who will invest in good faith, not just the RI but Sophisticated investors also, all the more evident by those parties who invested in the $23/$16 CRs, and that Analysis who ‘went’ by the CEOs time frame for commercialisation.
There will still be a significant amount of dilution to come, if investors had not factored that in previously than they should be well aware now, at a much higher sp that is ideal, up to the Company to deliver on that, the last two years plus they have not.
Any negativity on this stock is more than warranted, more than a significant failing by this Company by not realising any sp appreciation despite 2 years of funding since the famous utterance of “ one and half billion could not buy this Company’ comment.
It is indeed shameful that WP will possibly receive a massive payday for selling out the Company at a pittance, this is the CEO who set up expectations that were far from delivered.
For those who have sold out many still made money and took profits off the table and can still buy back in at lower prices, that is far removed from being a ‘sucker/inexperienced/negative’
