Traditionally Australia has been good in spending. Covid when the world was struggling we had record online sales etc...

Interest rates slows down the sales for 2-3 weeks and things are back on track..

All holiday homes re booked for year or 2 ..including international destinations..

Camping ground etc all booked ..people spend..

International students coming here big time spend..and I can see that as I deal with them everyday...

I don't remember or many of us in here saying to wife or family ....interest rates have gone up kids can't do these activities or can't do that..we always find a way...
By the way I just paid over 2k in last 2 days for kids activities...and over 5 K in last 3-4 months ..

That's life ...Australians enjoy their life...
