People that follow candlesticks would probably have sold out...

People that follow candlesticks would probably have sold out today with the telltale doji and the gap down - classic candlestick sell signals. I also follow candlesticks but did not sell as I feel the candlestick at today's end will be a spinning top (indecision) and that more confirmation of any up or downtrend is required. In my opinion there will be a few days sideways / slightly down selling (off the overbought situation) before confirmation of the beginning of a new uptrend.
Note: novice at candlesticks - don't hammer me!!
