I like the "$100+" bit as MAQ is now 14% of the portfolio, same as you, this is a long term hold for me. Will top up again if there's a bit of a fall, but I'm not expecting it'll be much if it does happen, like everything else, who knows.
Agree re the "experience with buy-outs never yielding the return one is hoping for", I had Amcom from early on, great little company which was also going great, Vocus took it over so I ended up with VOC shares, disaster. I should have sold VOC when they sold MAQ, which took a bit of hit (because the perception was there may have been a problem with MAQ) and bought more MAQ. Of course we now know the problem was with VOC.

The Vocus buy-in was April that year and DT was responding to that amongst other things. Hopefully the brothers sentiment is still the same as I'd rather them running things than TPG, VOC, TLS, etc, if they sell I'll be selling too.
