That's the thing for me- how unique is this companies' test kit? I've done a lot of research on this and I think it's a case of right place right time for this diagnostic company with covid but there are lots of competitors that have usability strengths. So far, according to studies, it doesn't seem to be the "first there was black-and-white TV, we are color TV" gap that the management claims. No evidence to support this claim that I have seen. Lots of evidence show other tests performing as well.
I think they will do well and I still think that usability is a really important thing. This is the reason why I invested in this company. They are the only infectious disease home self test to date in this country. Great first mover advantage. But according to my research there is lots of competition with very similar performance.
