    Herd mentality unfortunaetly, weak handed people, people who cannot see into the future but merely trade on follow the leader. Happens everywhere. Happens on the buys, and sells. Some "sheep" get burnt badly, some get singed when the shareprice drops after buying at the top however the ones who hold and or buy when it bottoms stand to get rewarded.
