Correct "Sensitivity and specificity are inversely proportional, meaning that as the sensitivity increases, the specificity decreases and vice versa."
It is much better to have 99.9% sensitivity and 88.4% specificity then AT1's test of 88.4% sensitivity and 100% specificity.
False positives hurt now one.
False negatives on the other hand let people continue to roam around and infect others which in turn renders them useless against stopping the spread completely.
