Disappointing that we didn't get across the line, but the promising sign is that the government did not ask for more information. Generally this means that there are no outstanding questions or complaints from relevant stakeholders, so the process should be relatively quick when they resume work in the new year. That seems to be what the tone of the release was trying to convey.

Unfortunately regulators and governments work at their own pace and are probably done until early January now.
