The press release, while technically correct, only answers "the what". No mention of "the why", which of course is the critical piece an investor needs to make an informed decision.
IMO, The regulator does not require any more information "from the company" because they don't give a shit about the file until they get more information from the other stakeholders, specifically the local aboriginal group. Concurrently, regulator staff at the coal face are most likely deferring applications as they await direction from the newly elected ( 5 weeks ago) Federal Gov that promised more "thorough" and "robust" processes as part of their election platform.
Why no mention of the work plan and budget that was transmitted to Atrum by the Tahltan stakeholder? Apparently there has been some back and forth on the work plan and budget they have requested from Atrum. Don't need any detail, but a confirmation that negotiations are taking place is IMO material information.
