Lets look at time horizons, as you know the devil is in the detail, I invested to QBE in April/may 2020 - got in around the $7.50 mark - sold out $9 something. I re-enterd at 10.00 - now its 13.15.
For me the Investments in insurance companies - I own all three IAG,SUN,QBE - has not gone to plan - QBE has done well, IAG is loss making & SUN is up and down.
Here is the the Chart since April/May 2020, when I bought IAG, QBE . And a few months later SUN (but thats another story)
Ever since I have bought IAG, there have been some massive issues, the isues extend to SUN, however I do feel management has handled the issues much better.
Talking of QBE, and the chart says it all - It is a very well run entity since after the pandemic, and the moment they brought in someone from the UK, this has gone higher and higher - Yes I know they are in different types of insurances but since we are comparing lets put it all out there
