I posted on the WCN thread recently about this single Tesla plant in Nevada; when it is up and running at full capacity it alone will require today’s entire worldwide production of lithium ion batteries.

If this single plant is going to require all the current annual mined production of Lithium one wonders where the supply will come from to meet the demand of their next three similar plants currently in the planning stage.

Please also note that Tesla is only one player in the lithium battery electric car sector so clearly there is a demand and ready market for plenty of future production of Lithium, Antimony and Cobalt so I suggest we hurry up and find more of these resources to meet the growing demand.
