Yeah, most things are either Dante-enabled or have the option to be upgraded post-purchase. It's almost an expectation now.
I don't buy much myself, but when I've been deciding between two things and one had Dante while the other didn't, I've gone with the Dante-enabled product. It's like the business model of Milwaukee with their battery that powers every single bit of kit they sell. You keep buying their products because you've already got the batteries.
A few brands have gone the AVB/Milan route, but I can only think of two major ones off the top of my head. They really do have a monopoly on the market.
