I used to pay ~$150 brokerage for a $140k trade on Etrade. The equivalent trade with SelfWealth costs me $9.50. It's a no-brainer. Got an email from SelfWealth today saying that they are moving their brokerage from Pershing to OpenMarkets. So both Pershing and OpenMarkets are capable of executing trades without the hefty brokerage fee. It won't be long before the others jump on board.
