I have commented before that our board is ALL 'Non-Executive' . IOt would be better if someone actually worked at SDV full time.
It is definitely of note that the Chair has no holding (skin in the game) and I do not think I have seen a situation before where the CEO is not on the Board.
Someone earlier made a comment about Travel and Accommodation costs rising sharply. By my calculations Income is up around 60% which is the same percent increase in Travel and Accommodation costs. Creditors and Consultants is down and 'other expenses' is up 48%
It is plausible that at this point in the company growth more needs to be spent on travel etc to caress clients into signing contracts etc. etc.
I am hoping these things level out more as turnover (sales values rise).
All in all I am not convinced there is any shenanigans by management. I would like to see the board and management have more skin in the game. Let's hope they can continue to increase contract wins and incoming whilst holding margins at these or better levels.
