Auckland, New Zealand, 21 March 2013 - Genesis Research and Development
Corporation Ltd (NZSX/ASX: GEN) advises that an initial planning meeting with
Staples Rodway, who have been appointed auditor of the Company to replace
Ernst & Young, has determined that the audit is unlikely to be completed in
time to satisfy NZ Stock Exchange and Australian Stock Exchange deadlines of
31st March and 28th March respectively. It is expected that the audit will be
completed in the early part of April. This delay was caused by the unexpected
resignation of Ernst & Young on 21st February 2013.
