Market Update Auditor Replacement

Pyne Gould Corporation Ltd ("PGC") announces that PricewaterhouseCoopers
("PwC") has accepted the appointment as external auditor of PGC following the
resignation of KPMG.

PwC currently audits The Torchlight Limited Partnership plus Perpetual Asset
Management and Perpetual Trust's funds.

Further, PGC advises that the Board will seek to appoint another independent
director, based in New Zealand who can chair the Audit committee.
