PGC 20/03/2015 12:37 AUDITORS NOT PRICE SENSITIVE REL: 1237 HRS Pyne Gould Corporation Limited AUDITORS: PGC: PGC intends to appoint Grant Thornton as auditor 20 March 2015 PGC intends to appoint Grant Thornton as auditor Pyne Gould Corporation ("PGC") intends to appoint international accounting firm Grant Thornton as its new auditor, replacing PwC. Grant Thornton will be responsible for auditing PGC, and also PGC's associate, Torchlight LP. The change in auditors will occur upon the completion of the Torchlight 31 March 2014 audit which is imminent. PGC chairman Bryan Mogridge said it is timely to change auditors as Grant Thornton are familiar with the company's operational set-up in Guernsey, which relies on the Praxis Group to provide professional support services. With PGC now a streamlined company with few employees, minimal management costs and a focus on long term asset growth, the shift to Grant Thornton was also the most cost effective option of those available. Mr Mogridge thanked PwC for their efforts and positive working relationship over the past three years. He also said that PGC hopes to use PwC's wide range of capability in other areas in the future. As is normal under Guernsey law, the appointment of auditors will be ratified by PGC shareholders at the next AGM.
