Imo the most important part of this announcement is the already high revenue margin increasing from 8.5% in July to 8.7% in August, and that's despite increasing UMS.
I thought this might drop, even as low as 8% given the introduction of Sezzle Anywhere. Pretty sure a few of us were expecting a decrease, but how they've managed an increase, I'm not sure. Anywhere seems to be a hit with consumers, and working for the company too.
Revenue margin is obviously the starting block for the rest of the unit economics to work profitably. I don't believe any other bnpl has a margin close to this. @coppergaz mate can you recall what ZIP US is running at?
