Woolydog, have you any thoughts on the ESG policy that has appeared, I think this year (link below)? I have been wanting to roll out of Vanguard due to their performance in the Exxon and Chevron cases. AUI is one of my other larger holdings that I am looking at adding to.
It seems AUI also have given themselves the right to 'engage' with investee companies in anyway they see fit, with no evidence this would increase value or reporting of it. I suspect some large AUI shareholder has required them to put this thing in place, it written loosely.
