Playing devils advocate, ASB have not traditionally won major contracts from the Australian Govt. Anything of significant size has gone offshore. Even the relatively small $3.5 billion OPV was lost by ASB when really there were no excuses. I agree the total spend on defence and Navy will be large but that doesn't mean ASB will get any of it.
Same with the US business. There are contracts but the competition will be tough, although I like ASB's chances in the US better than here.
