    hey,

    I don't know the exact dates on these contract schedules but I look at it a different way.

    ship building is one of the most intensive job creating industries. the supply chains are massive.

    governments have massive incentive to keep these businesses alive and well.

    Austal did an amazing job going to the US, the Alabama plant employs large amounts of the community so you can be assured the lobbying will be there to keep work coming in. they are also building a steel ship building facility which you should read between the lines of that more work will land. when new plants are built you should assume there have been deals done to keep the work flowing.

    the deal for the Philippines is also another govt stitch up.

    politics abs jobs are what this business is about and both topics are very current.

    my bet is there will be a significant amount of work coming out both in Australia, the US and the Philippines.
