Incidentally, The Tiris project is 15% owned by The Government of Mauritania, which also operates the Port of Nouakchott, while the ports authority of Mauritania runs it. Berthing 24/7 (weather permitting) and continuous loading and unloading operations 24/7 except for public holidays.
