I can see there being a demand for this land bridging strategy, where I am from is a largest horticultural growing area in Aus and all export freight goes through port of Melbourne/Adelaide. I can see exporters going through port of Darwin to shave crap loads of time when exporting to Asia. This would easily be 10,000 containers a year where I am from that Aurizon would now handle that instead of pacific National and would make our exports more competitive arriving in a fresher product in Asia
